The veneer shearing machine is used to cut the veneer into a certain size of veneer, or to cut off the parts with material defects and process defects that do not meet the quality standards. It is a kind of matching equipment in plywood production process. According to the transmission structure, it can be divided into mechanical drive type and compressed air drive type.
Mechanical driven shears
It is composed of frame, crossbeam, knife rest, scissors, bottom knife, transmission mechanism, etc. The motor drives the transmission mechanism through the eccentric wheel to make the tool holder move up and down in a straight line. The single plate is cut off by the shear force between the fall of the scissors installed on the tool holder and the bottom knife. This kind of shear is slow, within 120 times per minute. It is only suitable for cutting after low-speed dryer and finishing of zero piece veneer.
Compressed air driven shears
It is short for PNEUMATIC VENEER CLIPPER. It consists of frame, air pressure system and mechanical transmission. The compressed air controls the positive and negative rotation of the pneumatic swing motor through the solenoid valve, and is connected with the main shaft through the coupling. The crank connecting rod mechanism is driven to make the tool holder move back and forth along the cylindrical guide shaft to shear the single plate. The pneumatic shear uses anvil roll instead of bottom knife. Each time it is cut, the one-way overrunning clutch drives the anvil roll to rotate a small angle, so that the knife mark of the scissors is not fixed on a certain part of the anvil roll repeatedly, so as to achieve the purpose of equal wear and prolong the service life. The pneumatic shear has the advantages of fast cutting speed, no less than 200 times per minute, good quality and suitable for high-speed automatic cutting.
